Among the strategies for adapting to climate change, it is more and more common to see municipalities want to have a covered outdoor skating rink. However, the cost of this work is often an obstacle to projects. The Poincaré team supported the City of St-Amable in the development of the roof project above the skating rink in Le Rocher Park. An innovative steel and lightweight wooden frame solution was developed to lower the construction costs of the project and make everything viable. The collaboration with the architects allowed the realization of a project that was both visually impressive and economical.
